Processed Food
Processed foods can contain sugar, fats and sodium/salt. Too much sugar will cause diabetes and heart disease. Too much fats will cause diabetes type 2 and body fat. Too much sodium will cause high blood pressure and heart stroke. Majority of processed food contains too much sugar, fats and sodium is unhealthy. Also processed foods contains other unhealthy ingredients, like:
- Artificial Sweeteners
- Trans Fats and Vegetable Oils
- Artificial Flavors
- Monosodium Glutamate (MSG)
- Artificial Colors (Dyes)
- High-Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS)
- Preservatives
- Genetically Engineered Ingredients
Non-processed food
Non-processed food is healthier than processed food. There is 4 food groups: Grains, Diary, Produce and Meat. You must eat them balanced, so not too much of one and not too less of one. Non-processed food has nutrients like: Fats, Protein, Carbohydrates, Vitamins, Water and Iron. Sometimes non-processed food has no ingredients.
